Using Video Marketing – Generate Tons Of Traffic To Your Site
Opt-in lists are a fantastic way to promote you or “brand” yourself online. To be able to establish a list that you know are interested in what you have to offer, and then distribute to, is a great marketing tool to have. Videos offer the greatest value to these lists as they can get to the point quicker than an article can and your readership/viewership can get to know what you are like as a person. To see a real person deliver a message is always preferred over an article.
If you can produce 5-7 videos a week with quality content and distribute through you opt-in list and a video distribution site, such as tube mogul, which is a free site, or traffic geyser, which is a monthly subscription, then you have a powerful marketing tool on which to promote your website. Remembering that the content of your videos should be of optimum quality, not just rubbish pieces.
Your videos are a way of letting people meet you, get to know you, and trust you, before you have even attempted to do business with them. Therefore it is highly important to come across as knowledgeable about the subject you are talking about when trying to educate people about the subject at hand. Here are 3 key points to remember;
Content of your video –
Quality content will have the viewer coming back for me. Really offer something. A good start with video marketing would be to do a series of videos on FAQ’s relating to your business followed by some videos on ‘stuff you should know, but never thought to ask’. Also if writing articles (check out my article on HOW TO USE ARTICLES TO DRIVE TRAFFIC TO YOUR SITE) you can attach a video presentation of the article in case the reader would prefer to view instead of read.
Video distribution sites –
Distribution sites are one way of getting your video out there and exposed to as many hits as possible. Once you have recorded your video and downloaded to a site such as YouTube make sure you really get your video working hard for you. These sites will distribute to other sites which will in turn mean more potential hits on your video and traffic to your website.
Opt-in lists –
Build a list of potential clients and email them daily or weekly videos or a series of videos. This, as I have said, is a great way to build relationships and is a base of people that you know are interested in the content you are providing.
So in summary the 3 points above will hold you in good stead when it comes to starting and running a successful video marketing campaign.
Wishing You Success
