Preparing for your family financial needs

Are you prepared for you family financial needs? I am not just talking about the grocery or the cell phone bill. Everyday your family needs change and they want and need different things. It can be hard to address these new wants and need while you have a list of bills your trying to catch up on. You also have your spouse and unexpected bill to worry about. What if the car breaks down, what if the pregnancy test comes out positive, What if you have a break in or an injury. There are so many things that can go wrong. Are you really ready for your whatever comes at your family?

I know you can’t be prepared for everything, but putting effort into managing your personal finances can help you hit many of life’s curve balls, right out the park. Putting a little away in case the car breaks down might seems impossible right now, but it will be much harder to try to catch up on other bills if you have to miss one to fix your car. After you save a certain amount say around $2000 you can start on something else. With $2000 ready an waiting to fix the car when the time comes you can rest assured your mind will be at ease. Think if you had a little set aside for all every little problem you can imagine.

You might be asking how where will you get the extra money to save? Well, there are a few ways you can earn extra cash. Getting a second job is one way, or doing overtime if your job allows it, freelancing in your field of expertise or have your spouse work for a little while are ways to earn extra income. If you make an extra $300 a week for the next six months you will have over $7000 just waiting for whatever comes your way. Your car can break down a few times and you would still be in the green(pun intended). Losing six months of sleep for this kind of financial security is well worth it in my book. Your family depends on you financial and a little personal financial planning will help you to be ready when they need you most.
